The Central Library of Silpakorn University has a long development since it was founded. It was a library of Silpakorn University Wang Tha Phra in 1964, when the university only had one campus. Later, the educational area was expanded to Sanam Chandra Palace in 1968. In order to effectively support the academic mission of the university, the Central Library was formed as a department equivalent to the faculty in 1989. The university expanded the curriculum to Phetchaburi Province in 2002. At present, the Central Library is in charge of providing services to 3 campuses, including the Silpakorn University Archives.
